Hello fellow toastmasters

Our last meeting on Tuesday was very special because our Area Governor, Kai Gabriele Krüger, visited the Danube Sparrows in Ulm. We were a big crowd and we had three new guests: Florian, Andrea and Thomas. Welcome to Toastmasters!

So the Agenda was different. Michael jumped in for TM of the evening. Kai introduced herself with a speech about competition.

Learn to win – have fun with contest

We learned how to prepare ourselves for a contest, our roles and responsibilities and about win and fail – learn to succeed

Kai, you inspired us a lot! Thanks a lot and I hope that you convinced some members to take part in our Table Topics and Humours Speech Contest on October 13, 2009, Please don’t be shy and just give it a try next time – it’s going to be fun!

The second highlight of the agenda was Michaels educational session. He explained us how to use TM Easy Speak and this tool will definitely improve communication within the club members of the whole area. Michael you showed us very professionally how we can use easy speak.

After that Stefan acted as joke master and also as Table Topics Master and we replied to all kind of questions about automotive subjects, such as the fair in Frankfurt and questions about environmental influences. Kai evaluated the evening and gave us valuable hints how we can improve our meetings. Felicitas supported her as timer and Renate counted the “ahs”.
